Just purchased the Alfa Romeo Spider, 2.0l Twin Spark. I was looking to get it serviced but also, I would like the timing and balance belts replacing as well.
There is a clicking noise coming from under the timing cover, and looking online this may point to the balance belt. Since I can't see anywhere in the service book which states the belts have been done in the past, I would be more comfortable having them changed. |

Hi, I have a water leak in the passenger footwell in my Giulia - 2017, 2.2 diesel variant - I was wondering if you know about this issue and how to go about solving it? As I see it is a common problem with the Giulia. In my case the water is leaking through whenever the recirculation control is NOT set to "M" (which keeps it shut and only uses air already in the car) and it trickles down. Any help would be greatly appreciated, really annoying issue and ideally not going to have to resort to a main dealer.

Hi,
I have a Stelvio Quadrifoglio with a known issue on the model. It’s a 2019 and has a blocked Y valve in the boot door. This means that the rear screen washers don’t function at all and the reservoir in the engine compartment leaks very quickly once filled up.
I understand it’s reasonably straightforward repair. Have you carried this out before?

Hi, I am emailing on behalf of my dad as he doesn't do email (he's 84!)
He is experiencing roof issues with his Spider and can't find anyone local to him to take it on.
His local garage just said it's the motor but you can hear it working and the roof does move, albeit very slowly and does work through the full operation.
When I had a quick look there was hydraulic fluid leaking from the valve body which the motor is attached to but the small brass alen screw was lose so that was tightened up and the leak stopped.
He lives near Driffeld in East Yorkshire and I wondered if you guys would be willing to repair it for him?
The mobile number above is my dad's and he'll be able to describe the problem in more detail
